How does air enter brake lines?

The most common way air enters brake lines is during a caliper replacement service.

That is why after replacing 1 or more calipers on a vehicle, the brakes should be bled.

Are your brakes acting funny?

If you are somewhat familiar with brakes and cannot figure out what is wrong with your vehicle’s brakes, air trapped in the brake line would be a logical assumption.  There are other things to consider like a faulty master cylinder or possible damage to brake lines.
